Following are some of the most effective tips for keeping hair healthy. These can help increase the thickness, volume and shine of the hair.
About one hour after putting oil in the hair, mix a paste of egg, a little shampoo and a little conditioner and put on the hair for one hour. The shampoo and conditioner help later in washing the egg off the scalp. When washing hair, stand with water running through your hair for a while before gently removing the egg paste from the hair. Too rough handling will lead to breakage. When the water has flown through long enough, your hair will start feeling looser, since the egg makes it stiff. Most people recommend that no shampoo or conditioner be used after washing the hair. However, using a shampoo and a conditioner after it will help removing the egg from the hair, reducing the smell, and giving a very nice healthy bounce to it.
Even then, if you feel like giving a one last shine to the hair, here’s another tip. Take some used tea. Boil some water that is enough to rinse your hair, and let the tea boil in it. Once some color is attained, take it off the stove and let cool a bit. Then sift it, and put in some lemon juice. After washing your hair with the conditioner, give one final rinse with the somewhat cooled lemon and tea water. It leaves a very lovely smell in the hair, and gives a very good shine in it.
You can use this routine every four days for one month to increase your hair volume and get a beautiful soft feel, which no conditioner can match. It costs very less, and the effects are so good you cannot take your hands off your hair.
Buy shampoos that have a repair feature in them. In our everyday lives, the heavy amount of pollution and sun exposure damages our hair significantly. Therefore, a regular wash with such shampoos help counteract these damages. Putting on a conditioner after shampooing is as essential as is washing the hair. The hair lose much of their natural moisture and thereby their flexibility and bounce after use of the shampoo. A conditioner applied at the tips and length of the hair (not the scalp) and left for two minutes can help restore the moisture, and bring the bounce back.
Do not rub your hair when drying but pat them gently and put a towel around them. Once most of the water is drained off, put on some good conditioning serum in the hair. It will help reduce tangles and fizziness in the hair and will help reduce breakage of hair when combing.
Investing in good hair products shows and therefore, try to find a good product that is in accordance with your hair type. If budget constraints are there, it is better to get smaller bottles of good shampoo and dilute them with water. Even conditioner can work almost the same with the addition of some water, however, be careful not to add too much. Ensure the hair is thoroughly rinsed off with shampoo or conditioner, and allow for water to flow between the hair for some time while gently rinsing.
