Pakistan is an Islamic country. People live there according to teachings of Islam. Moral values of culture of Pakistan are ever lasting heritage of Islam. Islam is a complete guidance for all people of the world.
Islam assures rights of all living organisms. Islam gave special place to women in the society. It has given freedom to women up to certain limits. In Pakistan, there are women Ministers. Women are working with men in many other fields of life too in Pakistan. Islam does not say a lady should not get education. It does not women should never support or work with men in any field of life. Its true Islam does not allow women to be bold like Western women but it does not mean it says they should never join any field of life. Islam says women are the most respectable creatures of God. They should look decent. They should like women by their way of talk and dress instead of following men. They should not expose their body but must expose their qualities.
Islam is never in against of jobs of women. Islam considers teaching and medical fields the best fields for women as a teacher and a doctor are most respectable people in the society. Holy Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) said “ Seek the knowledge from cradle to grave “. In His saying, it is said seek the knowledge. It was not mentioned only men should seek the knowledge. Islam encourages women to seek knowledge. Islam says the right of a daughter in her father’s property is equal to the right of two sons. Islam says either its Mother or sister! Either wife or daughter! Women must be given some part of the property. Islam teaches parents should give same attention, love and importance to their daughters as they give to their sons.
Culture of Pakistan has its unique traditions related to Pakistan. In Pakistan, men give respect to women. Men work and consider it their duty to bring food and to provide all facilities of life to their home ladies. Those, who can afford servants, have servants at homes for making luxury living style of their home ladies. If home ladies want to support their home men financially, they are permitted to do jobs like office jobs, teaching and all other available jobs. Many women do jobs as a hobby in Pakistan. Men do not stop even such ladies too. Many women do home based jobs too and sewing is the most popular in home based jobs.
Pakistan has 4 states. All states have different traditions. However, there is a similarity in culture in all states of Pakistan related to women i.e. women cover their whole bodies. It gives security to them. They do not face hungry eyes of men on themselves when they go outside.
There are many social welfare institutions in Pakistan. They work for protection of rights of women in Pakistan. Such institutions give protection and shade to such ladies, who are needy and to those, who feel insecurity due to any reason.
