The Skin Lightening Home Remedies
1. Dried Orange Peels And Yogurt
Take 1-tablespoon dry orange peel powder and 1-tablespoon unflavored plain yogurt. Mix both the ingredients well to make a smooth paste. Cleanse away all the dirt and apply on the face. Leave it for 15 to 20 minutes and finally rinse with warm water. You can apply this face pack daily before going to bed.
This face pack works pretty well because orange is rich in vitamin C and lightens skin. It works great to remove pigmentation.
2. Tomato, yogurt and Oatmeal Face mask:
Take 1 tomato, 1-teaspoon fresh and unflavored yogurt and 1 teaspoon of oatmeal. Cut tomato in half and squeeze out 1-teaspoon juice in a bowl. Mix tomato juice, oatmeal and add in yogurt to it. Mix all well and apply on clean skin. Leave it for 20 minutes at least and rinse with lukewarm water. You can do it regularly before going to bed.
Since tomatoes are full of antioxidants, so they can make your skin glow. Oatmeal acts as an exfoliant and helps remove dead skin.
3. Honey and Papaya Face pack:
Take half cup of ripe papaya pulp and 1 teaspoon of honey. Mash the pulp until it turns into smooth paste. Add honey to it and mix well. Apply this paste on your face and allow it to stay for 20 minutes or so. Wash your face after 20 minutes with warm water and repeat the same procedure daily before going to bed.
Fresh papaya has the characteristic to dissolve dead skin cells thus giving your skin a natural glow. Honey has antibacterial capabilities that can protect your skin.
4. Milk, Lemon Juice, And Honey Face Pack:
For this face pack, you need 1 tablespoon of milk and lemon juice each and 1-teaspoon honey. Mix all the ingredients well and apply on your clean face for about 20 minutes. Rinse your face with warm water. You can use this face pack daily before going to bed.
This face pack works because lemon is rich in vitamin C and has the ability to reduce the production of melanin.
5. Gram Flour and Rosewater
For this face pack, you need 2 tablespoons of gram flour and few drops of rose water. Mix both the ingredients well to make a smooth paste. Apply the mask on your face and allow it to dry on your face for 30 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. You can do this 3 times a week at night time.
