Salt Scrub:

All you need to have is to mix ¼ cup of table salt in ½ or ¾ cup of almond or sesame oil. Salt crystal deodorants are commercially available in many of food stores. Salt helps to kill bacteria and bacteria produces odor. If you are interested in making a homemade deodorant (which is generally baking soda based), add a teaspoon of salt to the mix to help lessen the odor.

Wound Care:

The antimicrobial properties of salt made it one of the first treatments for wounds. It stings, of course, and one does not wish to put salt on a wound if it is still bleeding. But as soon as the bleeding has stopped, you can rub salt on the wound to clean it and speed healing.
