Women Having Oily Skin; Summer Calls For An Increased Skin Care

Once again, winter has faded into spring and soon spring will burst into summer. Next comes the unbeatable summer sun, particularly if you play or exercise outdoor. In addition to that if you are one of those women having oily skin, summer calls for oily and greasy skin.

You can always keep yourself cool and calm and can avoid being greasy or oily in the hot and humid days of the year. There are plenty of skin care tips you can implement in your daily regimen and can keep your skin oil free and maintain a fresh look.

Following are some useful tips for all those having oily skin to keep their face fresh and oil free in the summer days:

1. Clean your face twice every day:

Different moisturizers can help certain skins. You must remember to do this, but please remember this..RINSE WELL!!! If you don’t rinse well, the pores will stay open, that way more dirt and oil comes through the pores. Also, rinse with cool water and pat dry. This is important for all skin types. Oily skin also needs necessary moisture content and so it is important to maintain the useful and needed moisture. By washing your face at least twice a day you can keep the extra oil away.

2. Choose your scrub wisely:

For all those women having oily skin apricot scrub is a wise choice. It cleans the area well. Most women or girls have the area around their upper nose and on the curved edge of the top of your nose and also the forehead area that pulls in grease no matter what. Scrubbing twice a week helps you maintaining the oil and grease on your face.

3. Wash your hair:

Greasy hair, especially bangs, can lead to greasy forehead and cheeks. So avoid keeping your hair unwashed for long.

4. Rub a slice of apple or an orange over your face:

This will help enrich your skin with vitamins and will keep your face look fresh for long.

5. Eat healthy:

Veggies, Fruits, Nuts, Grains! They taste well! Drink Water! Don’t drink your calories. It also brings breakouts.

Following are some face masks for oily skin for help control the excess oil on your face and keep yourself fresh and radiant:

1. Ingredients:

  • Egg: 1
  • Honey: 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice: 1 teaspoon
  • Strawberries: 2

Steps to follow:

First of all take a bowl and mix all the ingredients well and apply on your face and neck area. Allow it to dry on the face. It may take 10 to 15 minutes to dry and then rinse it off with warm water. You can apply this mask once a week to help firm your skin and maintain the excess oils.

 

2. Ingredients:

  • Cucumber: Half
  • Egg: 1
  • Milk: 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice: 1 teaspoon

Method:

Peel off the cucumber and mix all other ingredients in a bowl. Apply the past on cucumber slices and place the slices on your face for a few minutes time. Milk is a whitening agent and lemon is a bleaching mediator. This mask can be used after facial for oily skin.

3. Ingredients:

  • Apple: Half
  • Honey: 1 tablespoon
  • Flour: 2 tablespoons

Method:

Blend all the ingredients in a blender and apply on the face and neck areas. Wash it off after 15 minutes with plain water. Flour sucks the oil from your skin and apple contains malic acid that cleans your skin internally.
