Denish Cookies Recipe


Ghee: 8 ounces

Castor sugar: 6 ounces

Egg: 1

Vanilla essence: 1 teaspoon

Flour: ½ ounce


At first, take a deep bowl either glass or plastic and add in ghee, castor sugar and vanilla essence. Now beat 8 ounces of ghee with 6 ounces castor sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence. Now add in one egg and beat further. Now add in sieved flour and mix gently. Now put the dough in biscuit maker and make biscuits of different shapes. Place these biscuits in a baking tray that is greased already. If you do not have a biscuit maker you can roll the dough using a rolling pin and cut biscuits of different shapes by using biscuit cutters. Bake the biscuits at 190 degrees Celsius for 12 to 15 minutes. Dish out biscuits when they are slightly cold. Serve with tea or coffee.
