Caster sugar: 6 ounce
Flour: 6 ounce
Vanilla extract: 1 tsp
First of all beat eggs with sugar till light and fluffy. After that add 1tsp of vanilla extract and mix gently. Continue beating till the mixture becomes double in volume. Now fold in the sieved flour. Gently grease a long rectangular pan using oil or butter and line with butter paper. Pour batter into baking pan and bake in pre heated oven for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees F. The sponge is ready when it leaves the sides of the tin and is springy to touch. Remove from the oven and cool down at room temperature. Cut into desired shapes to make the pastries.
Fresh cream whipped: 12 ounce
Flaked almonds: As required
Pineapple cubes: 1 cup
Caster sugar: 2 ounce
Glazed cherries: As per needed
In a bowl whip together 12 ounces of fresh cream with 2 ounces of castor sugar.
