Saltish (Namkeen) Zeera Biscuit Recipe

Saltish Zeera Biscuit Ingredients:
Butter: 4 ounces
Caster sugar: 2 ounces
White cumin: 1 teaspoon
Flour: 8 ounces
Salt: ½ teaspoon
Baking powder: ¼ teaspoon
Egg: 1

Saltish Zeera Biscuit Method:
Baking is an art and needs precision and accuracy. Just a little alteration in measurements can ruin the entire recipe. To get optimum results it is good to follow authentic recipes. To make saltish zeera biscuit recipe, first you need to sieve all the dry ingredients that are; flour, baking powder and salt. Repeat two to three times. Now beat butter and sugar till they turn light and creamy. After that, add in egg and beat well. Now add cumin seeds and fold in the flour, mix with hands to form into a medium dough, roll out using rolling pin to a medium size round 1/8 inch thick. Make sure that he surface is clean and dry. Sprinkle flour to avoid stickiness.  Cut with cutter, mostly round cutter is used. Place on an ungreased baking tray, prick with fork, bake for 15 minutes on 180 degree C. After 15 minutes, remove from oven and allow biscuits to cool down. Serve with tea or coffee.
