Tempting Banana Nut Bread Recipe

It can be a new addition to your breakfast menu and yes very healthy and tempting recipe for bread lovers. To make it save the ripe bananas for this recipe by peeling and storing them in a freezer.


  • 4 cups: All-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cups: Dry milk
  • 4 teaspoons: Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon: Ground cinnamon
  • 4 large: Eggs
  • 3 1/2 cups (about 7 medium): Mashed very ripe bananas
  • 2 cups: Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup: Vegetable oil
  • 1 cup: Chopped walnuts
  • Directions:

The very first thing you need to do is to preheat the oven to 350° F and grease two 9 x 5-inch loaf pans using oil or butter and keep them aside.

To start the procedure you first should take a large and deep bowl and mix flour, dry milk, baking powder and cinnamon. Beat eggs in a separate bowl and then add bananas, sugar and oil in large mixer bowl on medium speed. As soon as you see these ingredients are mixed properly now add the dry ingredients mixed together and left aside already. Gradually beat in flour mixture and stir in nuts and pour the mixture into prepared pans.

Bake the bread loaf for 60 to 65 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool in pans for 10 minutes and then remove to wire racks to cool completely. As soon as the bread cools down properly you then can cut them into slices and serve them to your family guests. It can be a great choice for breakfast.
