Tempting Butter Chicken Recipe


Chicken: 1 kg (20 pieces)

Yogurt: ½ cup

Almond paste: 2 tablespoons

Red chilli powder: 2 teaspoons

Onion slices: 1 medium sized

Fresh cream: 4 tablespoons

All spice powder: 1 teaspoon

Green cardamom powder: ½ teaspoon

Ginger garlic paste: 1 teaspoon

Tomato puree: 4 tablespoon

Salt: 1 ½ teaspoons

Butter: 2 ounces

Oil: ¼ cup

Green coriander: 2 tablespoon

Green chilli: 4 chopped


First of all, wash chicken and marinate with ginger garlic paste, yogurt, almond paste, red chilli powder, salt, tomato puree, for an hour. Now take a deep pan or wok and add oil and butter. Let it melt and add onion slices. Fry onion for 5 minutes and add marinated chicken. Cook for 10 minutes and cover with lid. After some time add fresh cream, green cardamom powder, green chilies, green coriander and cook for another 5 minutes with the pan covered by lid. Now dish out and serve with naan or chapatti.
