Kheer (rice pudding) is a traditional Pakistani desert. No eid or other special events like at weddings Kheer is served most of the times and many people find it incomplete without serving kheer.

Kheer is such an amazing combination of sugar, milk and rice. No match to this yummy desert. There are plenty of sweet dishes now served and cooked all around. But the more to the basic one the more it will be tasty. Try this yummy recipe to sweeten your taste buds.
Milk: 5 cup
Rice: 3 tbsp (grinded)
Green cardamom: 2 to 3 (crushed)
Sugar: ½ cup
Solid or Khoya milk: ½ cup
Saffron: ¼ tsp
Kewra water: 1 tsp
Almonds and pistachio: 2 tbsp
Silver foil: for garnishing
Boil milk and add rice and cardamom cook till rice tender. Add sugar and solid milk cook till kheer gets thick. Make sure that you cook on slow flame. The more you give time to cooking the more it will be tasty. Lastly add saffron, kewra, almonds and pistachio. Remove in a dish and serve garnish with silver foil. Make sure to serve chilled to add to its feel and taste.
