Top 10 Pakistani ODI (One Day International) All-Rounders

All-rounders are back-bone of any ODI (One Day International) team. Pakistan has been lucky enough to have a long stream of quality all rounders. Here is the list of top 10 ODI all rounders for Pakistan.

1.       Imran Khan (Top Allrounder #1)

Imran Khan is one of the finest all-rounders of all time. With his excellent bowling and batting record along with his superb captaincy skills, he could make to any world eleven as an all rounder. He peak of the career was the World cup 1992 where he helped Pakistan to lift the title for the first and only time so far.

2.       Wasim Raja (Top Allrounder #2)

Stylish good-looking all-rounder, Wasim Hassan Raja  contributed a lot with both bat and ball in early days of ODI. His hard-hitting and aggressive nature helped Pakistan win many  matches.

3.       Mudassar Nazar (Top Allrounder #3)

A medium pace bowler and opening or middle order batsman, Muddasar Nazar was an important member of Pakistani ODI squads in 1980s. He was first Pakistani bowler to reach 100 ODI wickets.

4.       Manzoor Elahi (Top Allrounder #4)

A hard-hitting aggressive bowling all-rounder, Manzoor Elahi came from a famous cricketing family of Sahiwal, Pakistan. He was famous for his habit of hitting sixes, when sixes were not that common in mid 1980s. His two other brothers Zahoor Elahi and Saleem Elahi also represented Pakistan in ODIs.

5.       Wasim Akram (Top Allrounder #5)

One of the modern day greatest all-rounders, Shahid Afridi is an aggressive opening or middle order batsman. He is an alter fielder and a successful leg spinners in ODIs. He holds the record of most number of 100s as well as most number of 6s in ODI. He is powerful hitter of the cricket ball with great ability to hit sixes.

8.       Aamer Sohail (Top Allrounder #8)

A batting all-rounder and aggressive opening batsman, Aamer Sohail was a very useful ODI bowler and fielder as well. He played an important role in 1992 world cup. He played an attacking innings against India in 1996 world cup quarter final too.

Another modern day hard-hitting bowling all-rounders, Abdul Razzaq’s all round performances have helped Pakistan to won many matches. He has batted successfully on all batting positions from no. 1-11 for Pakistan. He is a traffic hitter of the cricket ball but can bat defensively when situation demands.

10.   Shoaib Malik (Top Allrounder #10)

A batting all-rounder, Shoaib Malik is an effective off spinner who is known for his ability to stop runs in power plays. He is very quick between the wickets and one of the best fielders Pakistan has ever had in ODI cricket.
