Delectable Changaizi Beef Recipe – Eid ul Adha Food Recipes

Ingredients :

Beef:  1 kg cut in pieces

Egg boiled: 1

Desi Ghee: 30 grams

Milk: 300 ml

Ginger Garlic paste: 1 tbsp

Tomato paste: 250 gm

Lemon ( juice): 2

Makhane ( puffed Lotus seeds ) fried in Ghee: 20-25

Chili powder: ½ tbsp

Fresh Cream: 80 grams

Ginger cut in small pieces: 15 gm

Green chilies cut long: 2

Garam masala: ¼ tbsp

Coriander powder: 1 tbsp

Chaat masala: ½ tbsp

Dried methi leaves (kasoori methi): ½ tbsp

Salt: To taste

Kaju Onion paste ingredients

Kaju: 50 gm

Water: ¼ cup

Onions cut: 3

How To Cook Beef Changezi :

Roast the beef pieces and keep them aside. Deep fry onion pieces in ghee till they turn golden and keep aside. Then fry makhane and keep aside. Add desi ghee to a cooking vessel and heat for a minute or so. Then add milk, ginger garlic paste, tomato paste, coriander powder, chili powder, garam masala to the ghee. Allow it to cook for 10 minutes on normal flame. Grind the fried onions and kaju with water in a grinder to make a thick paste. Add this kaju and onion paste to the cooking vessel along with chaat masala and salt and cook for another 5-7 mints. Now add 75 grams of cream, methi leaves, 1 green chili half of cut ginger slices, lemon juice and stir. Transfer the roasted beef pieces into the gravy and leave it on low flame for 5-7 mints. Later garnish with rest of the chilies, ginger pieces, fried makhane and cut boiled egg. Beef Changezi is ready to be served with rice or roti or chapatti.
