Lip smacking Ginger Chops Biryani Recipe

Ingredients:

Sliced onions: 3

Mutton chops: 750 gm

Ginger paste: 1 tbsp

Ginger chopped: 2 tbsp

Yogurt: 1 cup

Turmeric: 1/2 tsp

Coriander powder: 1 1/2 tsp

Red chili powder: 1 tbsp

All spice powder: 1 1/2 tsp

Green chilies: 4

Salt: 1 1/2 tsp

Cumin powder: 1 tsp

Oil: 3-4 tbsp

Lemon: 1

Chopped coriander: 4 tbsp

Fresh mint leaves: for garnishing

For Biryani:

Rice:  1/2 kg

Yellow color: 1 pinch

Kewra water: 1 tbsp

Milk:  1/2 cup

Method:

To start cooking biryani you first need to make qorma and boil rice separately. To make qorma, first add mutton chops, yogurt, chopped red chilies, chopped turmeric, ginger paste, salt, onion slices, chopped green chilies, mix it well, keep it on a side for 3 hours or more if you have time. This marinating time is necessary because it will help the mutton to absorb all the spices properly and will taste really good. Now pour oil in a pan, add marinated mutton chops, sauté it for 3 to 4 minutes. Then cover it for 30 minutes after pouring some water on low flame. After 30 minutes add ginger, lemon juice, chopped cumin, chopped coriander, chopped garam masala, green coriander mix it well.

Now make the layer of biryani. For rice you need to boil them perfectly by adding some whole spices and put them aside. As soon the chops are done you can make layers for biryani and put them on dam for 15 to 20 minutes and serve hot with yogurt dip and salad.
