Eid ul Adha Pakistani Food Recipes – BBQ

Eid ul Adha is incomplete without BBQ. Many of us love BBQ and on eid people especially make arrangements for BBQ. BBQ parties have their own charm. Enjoyment and fun raises up to the sky when you are with your family and loved ones on this special occasion and yummy food adds in to the excitement level. Asian especially Pakistan’s are BBQ lovers and eid is a special occasion for you all to enjoy food and spend quality time with your loved ones. Following are some delicious recipes with a blend of traditional and western ingredients you can try them and can make your eid a bit more special and enjoyable.


Marinate mutton boti with ginger garlic 1 tbsp, raw papaya 1 tbsp heaped, chili powder 1 ½ tsp, salt 1 ½ tsp, lemon juice 2 tbsp, allspice powder ½ tsp, yogurt 2 tbsp and white cumin roasted crushed 1 tsp and mix them well. Now cover the bowl and place them for 2 hours in fridge. It will allow the meat to absorb all the spices well.  After that put the boti pieces on flat skewers, only 3 to 4 pieces on each skewer, BBQ them and when they are almost done, brush with oil and serve immediately with salad and any of your favorite dip.


2. Mutton behaari Boti

Boneless mutton or beef:  ½ kg cut into long strips trampled
Raw papaya:  1 tbsp grinded.

Yogurt: 2 tbsp
Salt: 1 tsp
Ginger garlic: 2 tsp

Allspice powder: 1 tsp
White pepper:  ½ tsp

Chili powder: 2 tsp
Oil: 2 tbsp

Take a bowl  and marinate meat strips with salt 1 tsp , ginger garlic 2 tsp, raw papaya 1 tbsp grinded, chili powder 2 tsp yogurt 2 tbsp ,allspice powder 1 tsp ,white pepper ½ tsp ,oil 2 tbsp. Put it into fridge for at least 2 to 3 hours. You can even put them at room temperature in winters.  After marinating period, put them on skewers, BBQ over charcoal on flat skewers. Yummy behaari boti is ready to be served enjoy them with mint and yogurt dip.


3. Beef keseri tikka

Beef: 1 kg  small pieces

Yogurt whipped: 1 cup
Salt: 1 ½ tsp

Ginger garlic paste: 1 tbsp
Chili powder: 1 tbsp
Orange color:  pinch
Saffron: ¼ tsp crushed

Crushed cumin roasted: 1 tsp
Brown onion grinded: 2 tsp
Allspice powder: ½ tsp
Oil:  ½ cup

Marinate beef with chili powder 1 tbsp, crushed cumin roasted 1 tsp, ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp, brown onion grinded 2 tsp, yogurt whipped 1 cup, salt 1 ½ tsp, orange color pinch, saffron ¼ tsp crushed and
allspice powder ½ tsp for at least 4 to 6 hours. If you are in a hurry you can add raw papaya or meat tenderizer to the meat. Heat oil in a pan, spread beef pieces, cover the pan and simmer on low flame till oil comes on top and meat is well cooked.  Give dum of charcoal. It will give a special aroma to the dish.  When serve, garnish with onion and lemon rings and some mint leaves
