Kabab are cooked and served in a variety of methods and styles. Most famous types of kabab are seekh kabab, shami kabab etc. Kabab are usually an important side dish served in dinner parties and even at lunch and they make a good combination with different traditional and continental dishes. Today, we are going to share a different kabab recipe with you all. You can enjoy this recipe at Eid and later on too. They are simple to make yet they are delicious and healthy since a very little quantity of oil is used wih very simple spices. The recipe is described as follows;
Minced Mutton or beef: 300 grams
Onion: 1 large
Ginger: 1 inch cube
Garlic paste: 1 teaspoon
yogurt: 1 teaspoon
Coriander leaves: ½ cup (coarsely chopped)
Green chilies: 5 – 6
Chilli powder: 1 teaspoon or to taste
Black pepper: 1 teaspoon (freshly crushed)
Salt: To taste
Oil: for shallow frying
First, chop together green chilies, onions and ginger. Add the minced mutton and chop in a Mixer grinder, add rest of the ingredients and let it chop until the mixture is not lumpy. Do not add any water.
Now take it out in a dish to make kababs. Grease palms with a little oil, make small balls with the mixture. Shallow fry in a pan till the outside turns golden.. Place the fried kabab balls onto a stick and into a steamer. Cover and let it steam for ten to fifteen minutes. Kabab are ready, you can serve immediately. Serve with sauce or chutney of your choice.
