Finger Licking Lagan kay Koftay Recipe – Eid ul Adha Food Recipes

Eidul Adha season always calls for yummy recipes for all food lovers. Nearly everyone enjoys spicy and delicious Eid dishes. On this festive occasion a lot of traditional and innovative dishes are served to guests and visitors. Serve with parathas or chapattis and salad.


Mutton or beef mince:  ½ kg

Onion: 2 (sliced)

Green chili: 4 (chopped)

Oil: ½ cup

Yogurt: ½ cup

Salt: 1 tsp

Ginger garlic paste: 1 tsp

Red chili powder: 1 tsp

All spice: 1 tsp

Roasted gram: 3 tsp (heaped)

Raw papaya: ½ tsp

Brown onion: 2 tbsp (grinded)

Coriander leaves: 2 tbsp (chopped)

Cooking Directions

To start with cooking process marinate beef or mutton mince with salt and papaya for 15 minutes. In case you cannot find papaya you can also use meat tenderizer. Then add to ginger garlic paste, chili powder, brown onion, chopped coriander, chopped green chilies and ground roasted gram. Mix everything well and make into round balls and then spread in a greased lagan. Cook for 5 minutes then add in oil in another pan.

Sauté onion till light brown and then add yogurt in it. Fry for 5 minutes and remove from flame.  Pour this over to kofta and serve immediately. You can serve this dish with chapatti or paratha. It is all up to your choice and liking.
